The Italian horn first appeared in ancient Italy. According to historians the amulet was originally in the shape of the crescent moon but over time the shape became associated with a bull's horn, and when worn as a charm was believed to bestow one with good luck and protect the wearer from danger.
Artisans of Old Naples began to craft a little horn called "tuosto, stuorto e cu a' punta" which means, tough and twisted at the tip.
The Cornetto stainless steel necklace features an 1.5 in. Italian horn on a 20 in. braided style Gold chain.
